This tool was developed for local retailer Sneaker Industry to help customers check in-store stock for specific products quickly and directly from the website's product page. You can see it in action on their website. The original mock-up and prototype was designed in 2022 using Adobe XD.

The front-end was developed using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The original desktop design (made using Adobe XD) can be found here and the mobile design here. After validating the design with stakeholders, the API was created using PHP and later implemented as a custom PrestaShop plug-in. The changes are still live on the Sneaker Industry web shop, so you can see the final product in action by going on random product pages and clicking the "Check in-store stock" button.

Alongside this tool, the company also requested a custom internal API featuring data from their ERP system, which is currently still being used in their internal systems to help with inventory management, order tracking, and other internal processes. The API was developed using PHP, SQL, and Soft1 ERP, with notifications being sent to the company's internal Slack channel. The stock checker tool was one of the most popular internal tools used by company employees during my tenure there.
